About The Project
Topographic survey of Britannia Road at Bronte St in Milton.
Before surveying, Groma re-established UTM17 NAD83 Original control, as previous points from 2018 had been destroyed due to recent construction activities. This was done using municipal control monuments as well as some control that was still place near Lower Base Line.
Approximately 425m of roadway was surveyed, capturing the new construction features, including the eastbound and westbound lanes, new ditching and other features. A portion of the CN rail corridor below the new grade separation was surveyed, in addition to the underside of the bridge and other structural elements (i.e. abutments and other concrete features).
