Full topo survey of rail corridor between Lewis Rd & Winona Rd in Stoney Creek, ON.

In addition to this portion of the rail corridor, we also surveyed the roadways at both crossings, along with a portion of the Metrolinx Lewis Layover Yard.  Several culverts crossing under the tracks were surveyed as well.  All manholes and catchbasins were opened for invert measurements.

Flagging was required for almost all of the survey work, except for roadway survey areas not in the corridor, and within the yard a safe distance from the rails.  While working in the yard, staff from Metrolinx was required to supervise in addition to flagging.

All elevations were matched to an existing vertical benchmark found on one of the corridor culverts.

Survey deliverables included CADD survey base plans, survey points list, and extensive site photos.
