About The Project
Due to directional drilling underneath the railway corridor to install utilities, track monitoring was required.
The Contractor required two different drill paths to be monitored simultaneously.
We setup targets on each rail at specified intervals away from the drill path. Using 1″ total stations we were able to setup and monitor accurately without impeding the drill crews.
Throughout the process, Groma was to notify the contractor if any movement greater than the allowable limits were to occur.
